This week we are featuring an amazing boutique sytle resort called Pacific Resorts Aitutaki in the Cook Islands. Our agent Cindy Swartz recently got some feedback from one of her clients who went to this amazing resort and got married. Here is the review that she sent Cindy!
Hi Cindy
Thank you so much for helping us book our vacation in Aitutaki. We had such an amazing time and Poppy was wonderful. She made us feel welcome and helped us with our marriage.
We are very glad that we chose Pacific Resorts. They were personable and upgraded us to a villa on our wedding night. The service was wonderful. The facility was luxuries and the staff their were simply amazing.
I am very glad that last minute we decide to switch to Pacific Resort. We ran to a couple that had a bad experience at the Lagoon and Spa. They had been saving up for two years to go to Cook Islands. For their wedding and honeymoon they paid for an over water bungalow and when they got there the facility overbooked and only gave them a garden suite. It was one event after another for them there.
To avoid being biased, we went there for dinner. The staff were not as warm as Pacific Resorts. The resort was sub par, the meal took 3 hours to all come out. At the end of the time they gave us the bill for $100 but when they gave us the final bill that needs to be signed it was $115. They sneaked in an extra $15 for the surcharge of being a holiday. It would have been nice to be informed prior to the final bill. With that experience we were quite glad that we went with Pacific Resort.
Etu Moana was nice. We went by and was taken on a short tour by the manager. They were lovely. It’s a small boutique hotel.
Tamanu wasn’t bad either. We went there for there Polynesian Island Night. We met Mike Henry the owner of the place. He was very nice and personable.
Just a few things for the travelers to know it the future. There is a place called Aquarius by Rotanga airport where they can stay for a few hours, leave their bags and hang out before their international flight takes off. We would have been glad if someone told us ahead of time. By the time Poppy informed us we had already checked in our bags in the locker for the same about of price we could have a place to nap and relax before our flight back.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. I love Air New Zealand and their food were great. I would definitely highly recommend your facility in the future.
Thanks again.
Cheers, Debs
